That'd only work if Liverpool were gay
so cheat on him with a girl and tell him that he was only attracted in the first place because that guy was so girly, to lower his self-esteem

What a dick srs, doubting a person who got a 44 in accounting :/. The way to prove people wrong is to stick to your goals and make them come true really and stay strong throughout your time in VCE :)

So just then, a friend's bf said this: "you won't get into bcom at melb, from the person doing bcom at melb". On top of that, he doesn't even know me, which made me quite angry.

So how do you guys deal with the nay-sayers? Share your past experiences! :)

I don't get the point of his insult. You got 99.60, you're obviously in the course. He's just being a douche about it.

Last year, guaranteed entry into commerce was a 95.45 ATAR score. Considering you got a 44 in accounting and you're aiming for a 99.60 ATAR score, you'll easily make it! Just work hard and make it your goal to prove this guy wrong.

And if you fail at first, there are always alternative pathways to getting there. Don't let naysayers tell you that you can't do something, because with enough time and effort, you can get into literally any course you want. Good luck!

Haha sorry for the confusion.

I'm in Year 12 this year and 99.60 is just an aim :P

The way I see it, if you're aim is 99.60 you should be able to get >95. There are always going to be people that cut you down so they feel better. I think it's a bit of an issue that it's your friends bf more than him saying you can't get it.

Going all 'feelings' style: Just believe in your own ability. Insults like these shouldn't bother you if you do.
