Confused about the oral sac

Hello

I was told during my English year 12 orientation last year that my issue for the oral sac has to be discussed in the Australian media since September 2012. I don't quite understand that, though. Do they just mean that I can do any issue as long as it has been in print for a newspaper, or mentioned in the news (even just once)? Even if it isn't as widely discussed as, say, the carbon tax or asylum seekers?

(Sorry if this is a rather stupid question.)

I had this as well at school and for us it just had to be any issue that has been mentioned since september of the previous year. It doesnt have to be a very popular topic but make sure the teachers arent thinking that the issues hasn't been in the media. Also if you are worried tell your teacher what your topic is before the day of your oral so they are aware. :)
