UNI OFFERS!?

Apparently there are a whole heap of newspapers that are distributed at Fed Square in Melbourne before the uni offers are posted online at VTAC.
Is this true?
Does anyone know what day/time the newspapers are handed out?

Also! Say for instance I had Bach. of Science as my first preference and Bach. of Bioscience as my second, and I have the ATAR and prerequisites for both, and once first round offers are out and I'm offered a placement in Science...but I want Bioscience instead...what do I do?

If you get your first preference but want a course lower on your list you can apply for a negotiated offer. This involves you calling up the uni and asking them if they have any places yet and if they are willing to accept you. Just remember to accept your first round offer because the uni may not accept your application for a negotiated offer.
