Back-to-back lectures (and watching online)

Hi guys, long time stalker here  :P
I thought this was better suited in the UoM section than general uni's since I'm mostly inquiring about Melbourne's online features, but feel free to move.

I'm planning to start commerce next year, majoring in actuarial studies. With enrolment etc coming up, I thought I would look around at some breadth options and timetabling. Unfortunately, lectures for principles of business law ends at the same time as accelerated maths lectures start, and there is a 15 or so minute walk between the theatres (although I'm happy to be proven wrong), so I have a few questions if you guys don't mind;

Firstly, given lectures are put online, what are the chances that for some reason one will not be uploaded? ie is watching all lectures online risky?

And, secondly, would missing out on the first 15 minutes of one lecture per week be a big deal (there are four lectures per week), considering there may be a good chance that it is uploaded anyway?
On that same note, is it a bad idea to schedule lectures back-to-back even if they are in close buildings requiring a 1-2 min walk? It seems pretty inconvenient to have a free hour between between each lecture haha.

Finally (and slightly off-topic), does anyone know if taking principles of business and then corporate law would be of value to an actuarial degree, or would this not be considered by employers/useful later in the field? It requires me to make a trip to uni for one hour on a friday  :(

Or perhaps do we get told this sort of information on AAD and it's not worth worrying about now? haha

Thanks guys  :)

I have no idea as to any of your questions however, I was under the impression that Principles of Bus. Law did not have recorded lectures, as my girlfriend took this as a breadth last year as was forced to attend Uni (we live a while away from UoM so she normally just listened to the recordings and went to the tutes, with the exception of the PBL lecture).
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Lectures generally end 5 mind early and start 5 mins late anyway so you'll have time to travel between lecture halls. Also, the first few minutes of lectures aren't very productive and normally just used to address housekeeping issues. That being said there's always lecturers who talks too much and goes over their allocated lecture time which can be annoying.

Having all back to back lectures is te ideal timetable. You'll quickly find out that you won't really need that 1 hr break in between lectures and they generally tend to be unproductive. Better to get it all done in a row then proceed to do other stuff.

Ahh that might be a pain for the PBL then I would have rathered to skip that tbh, but hopefully if I won't miss too much of maths then I guess it shouldn't be much of a problem. Hopefully AM1 is recorded, I saw a list of semester 2 subjects that were recorded and AM2 was on there, so I guess if I miss the odd thing I could always probably check up on it there, or just annoy the person next to me haha  :P

I spose I will be heading into uni for an hour on fridays then :P the worst part being that that becomes a four hour round trip lol.

Thanks guys.

I doubt it's a 15 minute walk, but you'd have to post both lecture theatres here for someone to be sure.
