Hi guys, long time stalker here
I thought this was better suited in the UoM section than general uni's since I'm mostly inquiring about Melbourne's online features, but feel free to move.
I'm planning to start commerce next year, majoring in actuarial studies. With enrolment etc coming up, I thought I would look around at some breadth options and timetabling. Unfortunately, lectures for principles of business law ends at the same time as accelerated maths lectures start, and there is a 15 or so minute walk between the theatres (although I'm happy to be proven wrong), so I have a few questions if you guys don't mind;
Firstly, given lectures are put online, what are the chances that for some reason one will not be uploaded? ie is watching all lectures online risky?
And, secondly, would missing out on the first 15 minutes of one lecture per week be a big deal (there are four lectures per week), considering there may be a good chance that it is uploaded anyway?
On that same note, is it a bad idea to schedule lectures back-to-back even if they are in close buildings requiring a 1-2 min walk? It seems pretty inconvenient to have a free hour between between each lecture haha.
Finally (and slightly off-topic), does anyone know if taking principles of business and then corporate law would be of value to an actuarial degree, or would this not be considered by employers/useful later in the field? It requires me to make a trip to uni for one hour on a friday

Or perhaps do we get told this sort of information on AAD and it's not worth worrying about now? haha
Thanks guys
