hi,

I was contemplating on choosing the Bioengineering major in Biomed but I did not do Specialist mathematics during my VCE. I got a 40+ score for VCE maths methods. is the maths involved in the bioengineering major first year subjects (ENGR10002, MAST10006 and MAST10007) really difficult?
The melbuni handbook says that a study score of "at least 27 in VCE Specialist Mathematics 3/4" is a prerequisite for both MAST10006 and MAST10007, however I just wanted get the opinion of students who have take the aforementioned units. Would it be advisable for someone who has not done VCE spesh to take them? Thanks in advance.
