Very confused about subject selection (Bcom)

Okay, so i attended the orientation day yesterday and i've read through the handbooks and looked online however im still every confused.

I aim to major in Accounting and Finance.

To major in accounting/finance i need to do:

    First year subjects

    Introductory Microeconomics
    Introductory Macroeconomics
    Quantitative Methods 1
    Accounting Reports and Analysis
    Introductory Financial Accounting
    Accounting Processes and Analysis
Finance 1   <---------- However in the study planner for "Double major in accounting and finance" they dont have Finance 1 listed in the first year? WTF?

    Second year subjects

    Organisational Behaviour
Introductory Econometrics or Quantitative Methods 2
    Cost Management
    Intermediate Financial Accounting
    Business Finance

    Third year subjects

    Financial Accounting Theory
    Enterprise Performance Management
    Auditing and Assurance Services
    Investments
    Corporate Finance
    Derivative Securities

so for the first year i assume i would do 3 compulsory subjects each semester? is this correct?

However in the "study planner" as a breadth they have "Principles of Business Law" in the "breadth option" with an * next to it saying "Subjects marked with an asterisk (*) are required for accounting accreditation"

honestly im so confused wtf is going on. [/li]

What you have their is right, Finance 1 Is not needed as a prerequisite if you've also done ARA and Intro to Financial Accounting.
yes you need to do the law subjects as your breadths for Accreditation for CPA, they are business law, corporate law and tax law.
so just enrol in your first year subjects first :)
