Relevance of tax law and company law to an accounting major ?

i know its useful, but iam trying to fast track my degree via summer semesters only ( not by overloading ). This way, i'll have  5 electives which i can do over the summer

If you want to become an actual accountant - ie. gain accreditation from either thr CPA or CA, then both subjects are necessary. More information about this can be found on their websites.

^Have to do both of them if you want to be in the accounting industry as a CPA / CA.

a good way to fast track is to get a summer vacation position and claim that as credit. I think there is a limit on how many subjects u can do during the summer and i think it is 2.  Another way to fast track is to do winter electives from other faculities aka arts.
