The latter was ridiculous. I mean sure, I could do some of the questions, but under exam conditions?

Well it is a "Challenge", and given it's written by the mighty T-Bag where the bar for "normal" is already set so high, it shouldn't really be so surprising :P

(but seriously I don't think it was written as a possible VCAA exam, just for shits n' gigs tears)

This is random, but how did you accidentally get the question mark upside-down? :S :P

My last trial exam for English was terrible. But that being said, I feel like I know exactly what I need to do come Wednesday, and I can still see myself achieving success. The English exam is probably the one I'm worried about the most, but I'm glad that it's only worth 50%, because my SAC results were good. I know I'm going to need the nerves for this exam to get me over the line, and then I need those nerves to go away for the rest of the exams so that I can concentrate. :P

It's a weird feeling, to be honest, and I can recall that I had it last year. It's basically the point where you realise you've done your absolute best and that no matter what happens, everything will be OK. :)

Well I'm doing my last trial exams today (two for Biology), before moving towards only doing passive revision and taking a break to get myself in the right mindset. Then I'll resume practice papers for Methods, Specialist and Chemistry on Friday. :)

Only 50%? In reality, it counts for more. Your exam score will alter your SAC grade as well.
Like for instance, with Methods SACs last year, I could get an A on those SACs and still get a 46. Yet get an A on the exam and I wouldn't be looking at much more than 40.

Admittedly, Methods SACs are worth less, but you get the point.

HAHAAH I didn't even realise! It's fixed now though :P it's because I was on my phone and that upside down question mark is in the same position as the actual question mark but on the next page, if you get me.. So I always press it instead of the actual question mark :P my badddd

Yeah I kind of feel the same as you because I've honestly done everything in my power so it's really up to how I go on the exam and the topics/prompt/LA piece we are given. Hence why I'm excited for it because I want to see what they have in store for us, and of course once it's over I'll feel soooo relieved! I definitely need to make sure I'm feeling a little stressed and nervous though, because I need that adrenaline haha, of course not too stressed though other wise everything will fall apart..

Really? The fact that it's 50% is quite scary because it has so much of an impact, I guess for you having all those science subjects where exams are weighted much more heavily makes you feel relieved but it's quite daunting for me!

Yeah I've taken it down a notch with other practice exams, but I still want to do a few before the English exam, because after that I've got a whole heap of exams in one go and it'll be too difficult to try and get stuff done adequately for all of them if I leave everything until after Wednesday!

I'm so so so scared for English, it's by far the most important subject for me (in terms of ATAR) but I just feel like I'll either perform really well or terribly on the exam  :-\ That being said, I can't wait till it's over so I can get stuck into the subjects I love again. Best of luck for all your exams guys, smash em!

I think I'm just going to finish off and wrap up all my practice exams by Sunday night. I'll spend Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday just reading over my notes to consolidate it all, and also go over my practice exams and review areas of weakness + expression.

Thursday I'll do some light reading through my bound reference to prepare for exam 1 Further the next day.

Friday ~ rest.

Saturday and Sunday ~ revise for exam 2, do a few exam questions maybe, go over some things I need to be cautious of for the exam.

Monday ~ FREEDOM BABY!!

Because you find English horribly boring?

I have the same problem. I could probably do ten hours worth of science and maths exams in a row (no kidding; after the school chemistry and physics trial exams I didn't even feel like I had done anything), but I wouldn't survive two English Language exams.

Why can I do two 2 hour calc active spesh exams in a row but I can't sit still for more than 30 minutes while revising for English?

You're not alone. Hence why I've dragged myself into school twice during SWOTVAC to do English papers under proper conditions. I simply can't do them at home.
