Care to explain?

I think he means that we only have one sample VCAA paper to go off. Every other resource (including the AN book) is basically an attempt to emulate the sample paper. Only VCAA knows what they want to assess in the 6-mark questions, and the only thing we (AN, NEAP, etc.) can do is guess what they might ask in these questions and write questions accordingly in our books.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Of course, I didn't intend to offend anyone by suggesting that their guesses are inaccurate, but we essentially won't know until the day of the exam because VCAA hasn't given away very much.

Yeah, I wouldn't read in too much into the sample exam. Our bio exam was nothing like the sample.

Yeah, I wouldn't read in too much into the sample exam. Our bio exam was nothing like the sample.

On this note, did anyone else notice that the sample exam for Chem was just a bunch of questions taken straight from previous years papers? Not even kidding.

Yeah, they are, from 2009... maybe that was physics - can't remember. Well... everything except that 6mark question at the end I guess. I'm pretty sure that that's new =P

And I haven't done any chem practice exams except for the sample one so I'm not too sure.

I don't know what to do, I missed my application deadline for medicine at Monash (closed yesterday). I've emailed them and filled out a late application, but I fear it's destined to be rejected. If it is, I'm completely and utterly screwed for doing med.
What should I do?

nah paid a trip to the local ink store. can't survive without my printer :p
