Yep. Have a SAC for it on Monday. However, I'm going interstate tomorrow morning through to Friday; interestingly, we also start SAC practice tomorrow.  FML, I'm screwed for this SAC. xD

Geh. I just did my SAC. Urgh, I hate YOW so much.

Congrats! That's an amazing result! :D and at least you made the mistake in your first SAC, so you won't make it again. :)

Yeah, haha, for every single future SAC I will label every single minute detail so my teacher can't take marks off for it! And thank you :)

i have mine tomorrow haha, but i like YoW. Im surprised so many people actually hate it so much! i thought it was a pretty good novel (except for the epilogue... that was a bit random and unnecessary) with multiple dimensions and angles through which the story can be interpreted. although, i personally like period dramas and anything medieval, so thats probably why i have an innate affinity for it hahah

To be honest, it wasn't so much a terrible read, and though I like to read historical fiction, Brooks' prose was too pedestrian for me. The descriptions were very basic and though there were symbols and ideas, it just didn't hold that much meaning. The epilogue was weird and for me that just added to why I hate YOW. And also because the sex scene between Anna and Mompellion, though justified in terms of the themes in the novel, was very questionable plot wise. It just felt like another teen/young adult fiction which I detest. Also, I found that if there were to be a comparison of actions before and after adversity, I thought that there should have been at least a chapter devoted to how villagers interacted before the arrival of the Plague.

Again, it wasn't so bad but it's also not worth worshipping...

We can change the topic off SACs and talk about school buildings?

What did your school get as part of the government thing?

This is slightly off topic but I was part of the first cohort to use a newly constructed building at my school when I started there in year 7. This year, I'm part of the first cohort of year 12s to use another newly constructed building at my school.

Thanks mum and dad for timing my existence so well.

Lol, I had my business SAC three weeks ago and the teachers just finished marking it, however they won't be revealing the scores to any students apparently because so many students actually failed (<30%) the test. The funny thing about it is that the teachers literally provided us with the questions prior to the SAC and people still failed, used dot point form for their responses and some people didn't even know a single characteristic of an LSO.

I'm going to have to try to get my marks from my teacher somehow, I'd like to know how I'm responding to questions so I know whether to amend the way I respond to questions or not for my upcoming SAC.
