The only language we have available at our school is Indonesian...I dropped it the second I could.
I do wish that our school offered another language though, most of my family lives in Germany, and I'd wanted to learn to speak German.. oh well, I guess there's always uni!! :D
OHHH GERMAN, I remember I was going through the biggest head banging when I was learning modal particles and I think I scraped just a pass on the exam? haha anyway german was the death of me, more so than chem  ;D

I like your username  ;D

On the contrary, I love the sticklebrick nature of German. It's grammatically pretty straightforward compared to English. The harsh and coarse register associated with this language also appeals to me. But then again, I'm probably just saying this to stay motivated for the subject  :P

Did my  Language analysis sac today.
Everyone was pushed for time. it was about beggars in melbourne.
The first article had an image article and comment section. took me a while for that one. then a letter then a mark knight cartoon. i had to like skip a fair bit in the letter, but picked out main points spread out in the article so it looked i analysed it all. (not sure i should have did that)
then as 10mins to end approached, smacked out the conclusion. was very very dodgy awks

so now ive got the oral about beggars.
anyone got any ideas?

Just had Parent Teacher Interviews today but halfway through it was interrupted by the fire alarm ringing. haha.
It was fun but my teachers told me that I was doing well and gave me more positive comments. It has given me more motivation now. (:

I purposely had my times arranged from worst class to best class. Dad was delighted by the end of it haha.

It does give you a lot of motivation doesn't it!! I've been working harder since.

Pah, you guys got nothin'. I was sure to tell each (divorced) parent that parents teacher interviews were at times of the day in which they both had work (in case they communicated) and that I was doing fine anyway. Hahahahaha. Last year, though, I made sure both parents went to every interview, and I made sure there was an interview with every teacher. My teacher interviews have always ended up horrible since I started VCE lol. My mum found out I failed nearly every subject in year 10 and was not too pleased.. in year 11 it was the beginning of successful teacher interviews lol. I just remember after year 7 interviews my mum thought scoring like an E or a D was the end of the world.

My last parent teacher interview was when I was in Year 7.

Teacher said I was doing pretty well and she was happy. However, when I got home I got a real tongue-lashing from my parents for not being top of the class (they were peeking at what my classmates got in their lab reports for science and saw that I wasn't top of the class) and kept comparing me to this guy who had a scholarship.
