^ actually I think they're doing it for the benefit of the students. The school typically has the students' best interests at heart. A school is a business, a learning institution, and as a result, they'd want the best academic results from students to raise their status. Giving you more time to prepare hopefully translates into more work done instead of procrastination, which will only help you in the final exam, and in turn, increase respect for the school.

Just think of it like this: the teachers would be spending the holidays slaving over marking those essays when they could be doing other things.
haha I know I was joking, but yeah your very right. It also stops the end of term "its the end of term who cares" mindset from happening as much  :)

I still have quite a few SACs left because most of mine were broken up into 20% SACs.

My Biology trial exam is a SAC because our teacher decided to omit two of the SACs explicitly prescribed on the study design. lol

Finished methods, english, and one more exercise for further. So I'm pretty content :) For legal, there's only 1 more dotpoint to go, so that'll be done fairly soon! It's just hhd that I'm a bit worried about... I think we're just covering the points that'll appear on our final SAC in the last week of term, and then I'm just going to rely on my own revision/revision lectures to help me out

We finished Spesh last week too, but I actually feel like I don't know ANYTHING in regards to all the motion work (dynamics, kinematics)
They just sped past everything in class, that I need to re-learn everything now :\

I counted how many SAC's I've done so far this year and I've only done 14! It seemed like soo much more haha!

I finished the methods course today yewwwwwwwwwww!!!!! :DD :DDDDD!!!
(but I was bored and went about a chapter ahead so I have a couple of weeks to revise for the probability sac!)

And one SAC left for each subject, its insane! It feels so close to the end now gosh!

Well we've done all our sacs and covered everything that was expected to be covered for this unit, and now it's just the internal exam and  revision up until exams

Are any of you guys planning on going to those end of year tutorials/lectures?

I'm tempted to but I'm not sure if I should as it'll cost a total of over $300 for all of my subjects and I haven't heard any of my friends from school say anything...
no money + too far to travel = home revision ;)
