English Language Resources, Essays and Information

Normal English, you read texts and analyse them, generate a creative piece of writing (well, it's supposed to be creative), and analyse article. Pretty much what you would have been doing in Year 10. English Language is oft said to suit Math/Sci kids better because of the structured nature of the subject. It has more of a linguistic focus and focuses on the actual language; how it can be used to manipulate, evolution of language throughout history etc. (Disclaimer: Never ever took EngLang regurgitating threads)
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

I'm taking English Language now and we are currently learning about grammar- nouns, pronouns and other parts of speech or classes of words.
English language, as mentioned focuses more on the language itself and none of those English stuff about reading texts.

However there is analysing in English Language as well such as when you look at language acquisition (how children learn language). There will be lots of essay writing as well. It's also about the evolution of language so how the English language has changed over time and why language is important.

They say English Language is helpful for English because of the grammar.
