Timetabling: what's a steam class?

I did the auto timetabling thing and I got a practical and tutorial (says at diff locations) at the same time and it says its a stream class, what does that mean?

It means you have a tutorial first, and then a prac straight after.

And to answer other stream questions e.g. a stream of three lectures a week: They give you these lectures at the same time for certain days of the week, but since lectures aren't compulsory you can just show up to what lecture times suit you
