so i rick and rolled !!!!

it was the best moment, and the examiner was looking at me.. thinking why i was smiling and everyone around me was about to cry...

that was a ridiculous exam.
by far harder than any prac exam i've done or last years one.
i didnt understand half the questions!!
and thinking back, in my rush to go back and answer questions i left, i missed the Na one. bugger
guessed a fair few of MC
refusing to look at the answers
dont want to be more depressed haha just damn glad its over!!
my whole school found it difficult, and i think most people have, so it'll have to be marked up.

The scaling wont be adjusted based on the difficulty of the exam.

Except for last year's exam.  Last year's exam had a pretty easy question at the end.

Just a little side note to extend on kurrymuncher's comment, isn't scaling based on how well Chem students do in their other subjects and not the difficulty of the paper?

although that would presumably mean you study less for chem...

which would means you end up the same place anyway...

...so don't rely on scaling

yeah, thats exactly right.

In that case, scaling shouldn't change too much (if at all) this year.

Now that I think about it, it's funny how the Chem paper was hard but the physics one everyone is saying was easy.
