Hey everyone!
I was wondering what study guide you would recommend getting for chem?
I've already preordered the ATARnotes one, but I have a landmark voucher that I need to use :P
If you could choose one other guide, what would you recommend?
Thank you! :)

I personally found the A+ Chem notes to be heaps useful! They really helped putting all the content together and don't include irrelevant stuff. They also have a few questions at the end of each section which was quite good if I had trouble with a particular component of the course.

The Neap smartstudy book isn't too bad either. Yeah, the A+ chem notes are pretty good too. I'f you're looking mostly for summaries, probably the A+ chem notes book. The questions in it are not too bad either and really useful for sac preparation. This is just my experience from bio though.

If you're getting the ATARnotes book, I wouldn't bother getting more than one other guide to supplement it. It's pretty comprehensive and written by an absolute pro :)

Does the AN chemistry guide contain summaries of the theory or does it only contain questions?

It contains questions and solutions. However since some of the detailed solution, which explain the whole context of the question, are sometimes a whole page long or even longer, you can say it basically contains summaries of the theory specific to the question.

Both. The summaries of theory don't really come in and of itself; that's what your textbook is for :)

The summaries of theory are interlaced within the detailed solutions to each question.
