I know we bring a bag to store freebies in...
We don't bring our textbooks...
I think I'll bring a waterbottle and some food...
Do we need paper/pens? :/

Haha aww you guys remind me of me a year ago :P
You don't need to bring anything except maybe some money and a water bottle so you don't die of heat exhaustion lool - there'll be tons of free food/snacks/drinks going around and you won't need a paper and pen (in fact, you'll probably get them as freebies too :P )

Bring yourself, clothing optional.

And yes, you can join clubs and societies at a late date - but they're pretty cheap (usually $10 or so) - and the fact you usually get several free lunches put of it (ie. bbqs and beer); I would call it an investment rather than a cost.

Yes.

Clothing optional.

LOL. Are you saying clothing at all is optional or the type of clothing is optional?

IN SUMMARY:
There is no need for a pen, nor paper.
There is no need for a bag, but it may be convenient.
There is no need for textbooks.
There is no need for food, nor water unless you have an issue with drinking from the water taps or if you will probably not get free/buy some water or food.
You would probably need a wallet with some money just in case, and possibly identification to obtain your student ID if you haven't done so.
Bring a phone as well.

You know what I meant ^_-

But srsly, I've seen what happens when you combine free beer and kids who think they have finally escaped the hell that is high school education.

I really doubt the host tour will last that long, even though it says so. It will probably be over by like 11-11.30, most of the fun stuff at South Lawn will be starting at 11 anyway.

What are some clubs and societies that will pay good dividends?  :)
