Type 7C3 then use row matrix (3x1), the other row matrix (3x1) inside what you get from 7C3 :) Your vector is represented by the matrix

Did you have a comma in between?

(btw, you pressed "menu" before 7C3 right?)

The following also works

dotP([1,2,3],[4,5,6])

So you can make two square brackets instead of opening a 3x1 matrix (I find this easier)

Do you know how to test the existence of f(g(x)) stuff on the CAS?

you could define f(x)=... g(x)=...
Then type f(g(x)) and ENT. if it exists it comes up with the function...and if it doesn't then well...the CAS calc should tell you. Hope that helps :P
