Yeah, I don't know how it came to this but everyone with the same SAC at different times is a terrible idea

Had mine today. Our SAC was on HJ Heinz and their 2011 "Global Productivity Plan". Interesting you all had QANTAS for the real thing. QANTAS was our Practice SAC/Revision.

We had similar Questions to those discussed on here, but half were different. The marking weighting was also different.

My teacher has already marked it (Because he was expecting a high mark from me) and has given me 95% (19/20). I know where I lost the one mark because I didn't know EXACTLY what the Question asked, it wasn't specific, and I think everyone got it wrong.

I'm happy with my mark, considering I didn't do Units 1 and 2 BM. I dropped Legal Studies for Bus Man, and certainly have no regrets over it.

Did SAC on Monday 4th and my teacher said she will hand back the SAC on March 18th. Class only has around 15 students.

Oh wow only 15 students, our SAC had to be done after school since we had about 70 people that all had to do it at once.

That Heinz case study was given out as a practice SAC at my school. xD

Found this all fairly funny.

My structuring for the SAC was defining the 5 characteristics that make up an LSO, and explaining in further detail about two of them.
There was a question on two management functions.
There was also a question on stakeholders worth 6, which I got 5 for - had no idea what social and ethical responsibilities QANTAS had ... didn't learn that.
AND more that I can't remember.

Never the less, I ended up getting 17/20.

Lost one mark because I didn't know what social and ethical responsibilities were ...
Lost one mark because I defined two of something, instead of one - fucking ridiculous as I did double the work for a 3 mark question, lost one for doing that.
Lost another mark because whilst defining management  functions, I accidentally used the word 'manage' after I'd already explained it.

My next SAC is this Wednesday on something like hierarchies of so and so? I honestly haven't been learning anything for the past two weeks, my teachers a dumb bitch. Got two days to learn I guess :3 .

Yup, you're only meant to explain one definition. Not sure what the rules are, I thought it was that only the first definition would count and the second one would be disregarded and wouldn't affect the mark, but I could be wrong.. don't think it was fair to take away a mark.

Our class is in shock at the moment  :'(

We have a first year (First time teaching the course in year 12) teacher who is by far the worst teacher I've had

She forgot to teach us that Identify meant defining the term (As obvious as it may seem), and lead us to believe we only define when asked  ::)

Anyway.....Our highest score was 83%, I got 65% for not defining terms  >:( >:(

We had the Qantas SAC btw

Anyway, trying not to dwell on it. But she has realised her mistake and already apologised to us

Mine is !

For AOS 2 U3O2 it's in two parts both 25 marks each (scale to 40 marks).

U3O1 - 20 marks
U3O2 - 40 marks    (in 2 parts, maybe done in 1)
U3O3 - 40 marks     (in 2 parts, maybe done in 1)

As far as I know, identify means to state or list, and not define...so if the question only asks to identify then a 1-2 word answer is adequate.

Unless the question says identify and explain, then you must define key terms.

My teacher told us that we must always define the term before answering a question e.g
"Define two stakeholders of Qantas and their possible interests."
We'd need to begin our response with the definition of a stakeholder.
