Primarily doing it as I felt I could have done better if that makes sense (probably falls under crazy)

No point sitting it for lulz.

Not really for the lulz. As preparing for it using LSAT material will help me for the GAMSAT.

Could also be a confident booster if I reach my goal score after not succeeding at first.

I reckon you should just stick to the GAMSAT UK and GAMSAT instead of the UMAT. You are going to put yourself under unnecessary pressure during university to achieve something that is, in reality, an ego boost.

Valid point. Still planning to do it unless uni becomes overriding.

I wanted to do this - I know exactly what you mean by wanting to do better than at first. I did get into medicine, but my UMAT was not as good as I hoped, it can sometimes become a personal thing I suppose. And the UMAT is hardly a source of unecessary pressure! It requires no preperation when you are doing it with nothing at stake, and it only takes a good 5 hours out of a day - that's nothing. The price, if anything is the bigger hurdle, are you willing to dish out 200 bucks?

If you want to transfer into an interstate uni for MBBS then go ahead, might as well do it.

Could probably spend those 5 hours a day better to be honest.

He means you only waste 5 hours out of the day you sit the UMAT, not every other day.
