To get into graduate medicine or graduate dentistry at unimelb?
It seems to me that WAY less dent spots are offered, which makes me think that dentistry is harder to get into than med (obviously not saying that getting to grad med is easy)

I know there isn't a specific GPA/Gamsat requirement, but would you say that dent at melbourne takes in people with slightly lower GPAs and gamsat results in comparison to med?

You could probably argue that med is more competitive because they also have an interview process
2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

Depends on your strengths.

If you can bullshit your way through an interview and show how wonderful you are, med might be easier to get in :)

Personally, i'm not so good at interviews :/

But the university offers the Bachelor of Oral Health for dentistry as well, and its clearly-in is also really accessible, so that seems like a good option to help prepare a student for postgrad dentistry.

I'd say Med is the more competitive one, with the wider range of possibilities and area of knowledge the subject can provide leading to more students applying for it, as is the interview process as earlier stated. So far as spots are concerned, I think that the international places avaliable for Dent > Med by slightly if not by a lot, last time I recall.
