Urban Relaxation=Ironic in that there is no such thing given the realities of an ambitious life; in being ambitious one is constantly lusting for more "power" even in their "relaxation" as the people in the picture show.

Something like that.  I just don't think "misconception" is as applicable, given that it's more to do with a false belief, and I think it's a bit of a long stretch to say that the picture is about people who simply don't understand something...

We shall see at the end of the year.  :)  I'm still not convinced that "misconception" is the most relevant.

For the air-inflow crap which I didn't fully understand:
47: C
48: D
49: C
Anyone who understood the question want to confirm it? :)

I got
47: C
48: C
49: D

here's my reasoning, but I'm not 100% sure of it

For 48
Look at Figure 1, if you are pushing in and P and Q are both closed, then the air can't go into Room 1, so it must be forced up, and if you have R open and S closed, the air will go through R and back up the inlet, since it can't go through S.
Figure 2 is pretty the same as figure 1, but with everything reversed. Therefore, by similarity, you would need T and U closed, S open and R closed.
So summing it all up, P, Q, R, S, T and U must be reversed from what they are in the digrams.

For 49
The only way air can get to room 1 is if it goes through R so it can be pushed through P and Q. The only other option, going through S is no good because the Rubber Seal prevents the air from ever getting past and going into Room 1.

Nah I doubt its misconception. The artist 'uses' misconception for his drawing, but the cartoon's true meaning in itself is probs ambition...even tho i chose misconception

Isn't the misconception that having a stroll in the park would be relaxing?

but what evidence is there to suggest that the people think that a stroll in the park would be relaxing? And I'm pretty sure it was a road, not a park

You have to look beyond the obvious.  Yes, those people are not "relaxing" as the subtitle suggests.  However, to say that a critical cartoon would be about people having a mistaken idea of relaxing is absurd at best.  Rather, you have to look at the dialogue itself - the cause for their inability to "relax" is due to their attitudes, or as the answers would suggest, the ambition which is slowly becoming more prolific within a "dog eat dog" society.  On a superficial level then, it might be about misconception, but on a deeper, more metaphorical one, it's all about how ambitious people lead their lives...

That's my interpretation, anyway.  Just throwing it out there that all of the humanities students at my school agree with me.  :3
