Hey guys!

Just wondering what time the uni libraries close on the Caulfield/Clayton campus?

Thanks,

Love from Mr.Jaffy.

Monash Clayton:
- Matheson: arts/comm/etc
- Hargrave-Andrew (HAL or "Hargz"): sci/eng/med/etc
- Law: law (funnily enough)
- Medley: manga/pedos/fiction books/etc

You're not supposed to bring in hot or smelly food. Although you can usually just hide hot food and get away with it. Bringing in smelly food on the other hand makes you a terrible person (lookin' at you canned tuna eaters :P).

This is for Monash, Clayton but:
I'm pretty sure all rules apply like in any other library but from my experience when going down to Mathesons, I've seen people eat so yeah :/ (Downstairs though). Mathesons isn't quiet (it's not noisy but louder than your average suburban library) so I don't think they're too strict on the noise level there (again I think this is with downstairs ._.)

I've heard from my cousin that Law Library is pretty strict on the 'Be quiet' rule (I think they enforce the whole Library rule ethos) so if you plan to study there then you should watch out for that.

Oh yeah and it's pretty packed at the libraries whenever I went (Mornings at 8am/Afterschool at 3:30pm) so you should watch out for that (since a lot of people use it + JMSS kids ;))
I haven't been to the other libraries at Clayton (or heard a lot from them) but I believe they would be the same as the others.

Not a rule, but some things to go by if you want any sort of peace:
1) Stay away from JMSS kids. All of them.
2) Stay away from large groups of engineering students unless you are in those groups (esp the Hargz curries + one asian on the top floor, and the creepy eng guys at the basement)

What's wrong with JMSS kids?

I think I made a post detailing all their flaws before, but in short:
- Loud, and they continuously complain about how hard their VCE life is
- Rude, leave their bags all over the place (not to mention their manners on the buses)
- In groups, this adds to their loudness

In short, if you want to study, stay right away.

(yes I'm generalising, and I'm sure there are nice ones out there like IndefatigableLover, but yeah whatever)

HAHA :')
Well if it concerns you that much then I'll try and bring it up at our next Student Parliament meeting (like SRC basically but you're separated into different sub-committees based on Houses (E.g I'm the leader of Science/Maths/Technology for my house) to address it for you ;3

Is JMSS truly an 'elite' school with good teachers and whatever? like mac.rob etc? Or is it just by name?

Well, it came 33rd in the state in 2012, so it's pretty good based on the rankings.
