Hello, I'm confused whether I should go to Medentry or go to a UMAT tutor. (I know it is late at this stage...)

What type of learner are you?

Are you the type that can read and learn and are proactive in forming your own techniques to dealing with question types? If so, a prep course might be best.

Or are you the type that needs a bit of person-to-person interaction and spoon-feeding? If so, a UMAT tutor might be best.

There are some prep courses that do aspects of both, so that's also something to consider :)

I think I'm the type, that if there's a formula or explanation for things, I can learn by myself, but when there isn't, I have trouble understanding.

If that's the case, then go with a prep course :)

If you have the financial stability, why not both?

Not really much reason at all really. Your study could get inefficient. Doing one for more might just be more beneficial. Like. You could do lots of practice papers for Methods and Spesh, but you may as well just do more Spesh papers.

I'm assuming people don't have thousands to spend on the UMAT.

Thats how I always picture it. MedEntry provides you with ample resources in preparation for the UMAT, however, by having a tutor, you have ongoing support and you can build upon what you tutor tells. I know that I'm going to MedEntry and getting a tutor for the UMAT. I just have to find one, lol!
