OK, so first of all you need to sort out what these angles mean.
S 66 degrees E, translated to a cartesian plane, means an angle of -24 degrees as the given angle means an angle of 66 degrees from the south axis in the quadrant of the east direction.
so our force vector is 50*(cos 24 i - sin 24 j) =  45.677 i - 20.337 j where angles are in degrees
For the second one, N 71 degrees E, this is +19 degrees by using the above reasoning (try and draw these angles out and keeping in mind that North is y/j)
so our force vector is 110 (cos 19 + i sin 19) = 104.007 i + 35.812 j
Summing these, we get 149.684 i + 15.475 j
Magnitude is 150.48 pounds
Direction is 5.903 degrees from East axis
So 150.48 pounds and N 84.097 degrees E

B looks right to me.

I agree with the nliu

i recommend drawing it out on a plane with all the angles labelled etc.
then separate into vertical (north-south) components add them up (being sure to make the opposite direction negative!) => resultant force in vertical
do same thing but with horizontal (east-west) ... => resultant force in vertical

so the final resultant force.. use pythag and use the function to find the angle

you should get 150.48 lbs and B
