Word Limit for SACs?

Currently, my essays are averaging at around 700 words although I heard the minimum required before you start to drop marks is 800, and that 1000 is suggested.

I had never been told about a word limit in either sacs or the exams.
But if you are hitting well over a thousand words you may want to look at your essay to ensure you arent waffling
