Where to get practice questions?

Hi, so my biology teacher doesn't give us many (in fact any really) practice questions to do.
Because of this I know theory very well but have no practice applying it. Where can I find practice questions? Online websites? Should I buy the A+ biology books? Or maybe the neap biology questions?

Our second sac is in two days on movement across the cell membrane.

Thanks so much guys

Yeah definitely look into purchasing A+ notes and exams. Cambridge Checkpoints is a good source of questions (they basically take VCAA questions and compile them by topic) as well as the Biozone Workbook, which has proven so far to be a valuable resource.

I'd disagree with you on that.
I recommend biozone over checkpoints anytime. Not worth the money when you can get the questions on the VCAA site.

Out of Checkpoints and Biozone which one would be a better buy?
And also where can I buy Biozone? Is online from their website the only option?

Wherever you purchased your school books.
Link education bookstore has them, as well as the online biozone site.

Hmm, Biozone > Checkpoints imo. You'll find that a lot of the random scenarios in Biozone pop up on trial exams and past VCAA papers ;)

I initially disliked Biozone as well, but I realised you can really get a lot out of it if you treat it properly. By that, I mean that you need to learn the content from the textbook first before you even attempt a Biozone worksheet. Biozone is great to use to get those additional bits of information that probably separates you somewhat from the rest of the pack. You don't need to learn everything in it, but just a couple of extra bits of information is enough. See if that changes your perspective on it. :)

I have StudyOn for Biology and it's quite good as well, in my opinion. :)

Yup, Biozone is a supplement and imo used to solidify understanding.

Try StudyOn Biology, you can either do the questions in the book they give you or online (which has explanations, to-be-posted exam questions, VCAAR past questions, podcasts, etc.)
It goes hand-in-hand with Nature of Biology, but I used StudyOn more than I use the NOB textbook.

:) StudyOn is also good for Chemistry, etc.

Also, search online for LisaChem, they do nice trial exams for each Unit. I suppose if you're covering a certain section just do those questions of the exam.  :D

BioZone is a good revision book, my Biology teacher recommended it.
