my first phone was/is the worst phone i have ever seen or used to date, made by a french company i had never heard of -

then there was the dear old sony ericsson, this one was my favourite phone out of all of them, bought it in dubai with arabic script on the keypad, but on the same holiday it broke, and didnt get a new phone for like a year

then my first proper phone, an earlier variation of this bad boy, and it had msn on it so i was happpyyyyyyyyy

but then the plan expired and the credit usage was TERRIBLE, so i made a life changing move dundundun
BOOOM NOKIA E63 <3

then for work my stepdad got a whole bunch of iphones
and so did i, no need for a picture for the iphones, everyone knows what they look like LOL
then the iphone broke, and i went back to my nokia !!! so ive had the nokia for the past 2 and a half years :3

Unlike many of my friends who seem to go through phones quite quickly (re: washing machine, run over by parent's car etc), I've been pretty good at keeping mine :P

So first up was my Nokia 6288. Being my first phone, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I still have it sitting in my desk drawer if ever I need it:

So that lasted me about 3 years (2007-2010), then the plan expired and I got (for some reason, idk) the Samsung Jet, the great-grandfather of the Galaxy. It's my current phone, and we have a love/hate relationship:

And in the next couple of weeks, when the university deposits some scholarship money into my account, I'll be getting myself an iPhone 5 :D

I think I probably have one of the weirdest mobile phone histories possible. :P

I got this Nokia 6070 in Grade 6 for high school and emergencies and stuff. It was a good little phone, but it was nothing special. Certainly not a smartphone by anyone's standards!

In Year 9 I think I complained about the out-of-date nature of my phone to my parents so I got my mum's old Motorola Razr v9. It was a stylish phone, but again, not a smartphone by anyone's standards, and probably by then still out of date (obviously not as bad as my first phone :P). Nonetheless, I appreciated the upgrade.

Last year I think my parents realised that I was probably old enough to have a decent new phone (the other two were already quite old when I got them) so for my 17th birthday/Christmas my dad bought me a new iPhone 5.

1. Crappy LG Flip phone
2. Awesome Sony Ericsson flip phone, the one where you could play/pause/stop by pressing the buttons at the front. God it was amazing, got stolen though in sport class, lol.
3. Crappy Nokia phone
4. LG KS360 Webslider
5. Nokia 3120c
6. HTC Wildfire S
7. Htc One X (current)
Future phone will probably be WP8, after yr 12 :)

my phones are always shit

bahahah legit this was my phone right down to the screensaver. remember when those flip out phones were the thing? with their 3.2 megapixel camera? died on the train one day right before Yr12 exams coz the pants I was wearing didnt have pockets so I accidently left it on the seat of the train, got it back by a good (but drunk) samaritan but wasnt able to revive it until about a year later, so now my dad uses it

then i got this motherfucker of a phone. i swear to fucking god, my two previous phones were better than this piece of shit. Sometimes I have full fucking bars, but it doesnt let me text. sometimes its in mY OWN GODDAMN HOME! but if i tried to, i can call the person i was trying ti text. im fucking angry and cant type proerperly thinking about it. at first i was like yeah whatever, minor shortfall we all have them, but now. its just ridiculous. people ask me which provider im with, and yeah im with voda, but its not them, its my phone. i just says sending for ages then says failed, and it doesnt go through, like the other person doesnt get it and its ALWAYS when i really need to communicate with the other person. wifi doesnt connect half the time. its just a motherfucker. at least with the other two i could send texts!!!

Very large tangent, but Iphones- Are they overrated? Do people just buy because of the hype? Are there better phones out there? Im thinking of getting one to replace my shitbox, as you can understand

Some really bad hot pink Samsung flip phone that was like $20 from Coles that I got the day before year 7

Then mum got an iPhone so I got her trusty Sony Ericsson, I quite liked that phone. It was quite small for those standards back then and it was sparkly metallic red

Then the SE died  :-\ so I got a htc aria in 2011. I quite like it but its starting to play up so it might be on the way out, hopefully it will last a bit longer because I'm such a cheap skate and I don't want to buy another!

I've had so many phones I honestly don't remember what most of them were.

I've had well over 15 phones over the years.

First was just a random Nokia around the year 2003.
Insert about 5 feature phones in this space which I don't remember the names.
Than was when I was in year 5 I had a blackberry which although being the latest "smart"phone at the time is archaic when compared today (at least 3-4cm thick).

Than the original iPhone (not the 3G) which I had imported from the US when I was in year 6 (I was actually one of the first people to own an iPhone in Australia, having one months before the 3G officially came out).

Than I've had every iPhone except for the 3G up until the 4S. And still use the 4S although have been tempted by some cheap Galaxy Notes 2's on eBay recently, though I probably will purchase the 5S in a few months (cause fanboy :P). I also have some various cheap Android's and other little phones that I buy just to play around with (tinkering with the OS and stuff).
