Okay so for any of you guys that are doing health please help me out!!
I studied heaps for the first sac, even went through all the exams and what not.. but when I got my score back I was devastated
I got a 20/30 for the first Sac in unit 3 and I'm scared this might effect my study scores.. is there any way I can still get that 40/50 for health? or are my chances permanently ruined from now on..
Heyy
As long as you improve in future sacs and maintain a stable ranking (try to be ranked within the top 3) there's nothing stopping you from getting a 40 study score for health

Your chances aren't permanently ruined at all!
Remember that your exam performance can also change your sac scores slightly so if you work extra hard in your future sacs and figure out where you're losing marks, there shouldn't be anything stopping you from getting that 40

Before your next sac, just do a lot of practice Q's and more importantly get them corrected by your teacher - that way, you'll know what you're doing right and where you need to improve
Also try to determine where you're losing more marks:
Is it in the data analysis Q's? Case study Q's? or just the general short answer Q's?
Is your answer detailed enough for the short answer Q's?
Do you refer to actual data in the data analysis Qs (and if so, did you remember to convert numerical figures where they needed to be converted)?
Do you specifically mention aspects of the case study or only answer it generally?
Do you take heed of key Q terms like "identify", "explain", "compare", "outline" and "evaluate"?
Are your definitions accurate?
Do you mention 'key terms' in your answer?
It might be good to consider the above Qs when doing practice Qs for hhd in the future

Everyone struggles in their first sac so dw!

As cliched as it sounds, it's all about learning from what you did wrong

Also if you have Q's, don't keep them locked in your head!

just post your Qs on the
HHD Questions Thread 2013. and someone should be able to answer it for sure

All the best!
