I'd just like to ask if knowing the theory component of enzymes, of what is in the list below, would be adequate for my 2nd Bio SAC:

(a) Define enzymes and the purpose of enzymes
(b) Be aware of their protein-base and protein structure.
(c) Structure of the enzyme – active site – substrate
(d) Endergonic (anabolic) reactions and Exergonic (catabolic) reactions
(e) Induced Fit Model and the Lock and Key Model.
(f) Activation energy
(g) Factors that affect enzyme activity – includes:
-   Temperature
-   pH
-   Enzyme concentration
-   Substrate concentration
-   Product concentration
-   Cofactors
-   Coenzymes (a group of cofactors)
-   Enzyme inhibition: competitive and non-competitive
(h)Common enzymes and their functions
(i) Human uses of enzymes
(j) Describing and explaining reaction graphs of enzymes

The SAC is going to be writing a full practical report after completing an experiment :) My teacher is a real drainer, because the whole prac becomes rushed + she ALWAYS makes the prac + SAC hard.

Everything except (d) was on my enzymes SAC. Remember that experimental design questions may also pop up. :)

Yeah I'm also revising the practical report format &experimental design questions :)

I'd revise the pathway of protein synthesis. From the nucleus to its transport/distribution..Our teachers decided to be sneaky and put it in.
