MTH1020 or MTH1030

Well it time to plan out the course map.

And was wondering if I should move straight onto MTH1030 or start with MTH1020 then move onto MTH1030.
The prereq for MTH1030 says average of B in exam of Methods 3/4. Which I got.
But it been years so i don't remember anything math related.

So kindly asking if anyone could pm me or post here the units guide to the subjects and possibly the lectures notes so i can decide what kind of math needs to be looked at.

Thanks in advance

MTH1030 is one step further from Spesh so if you are not very confident in maths, do MTH1020 or even MTH1010.

The prereq for MTH1030  is average of B for vce specialist maths 3/4, so I would stick with MTH1020 or even MTh1010

MTH1020/1030/2010/2021 lectures are all recorded on MULO.

Anyhow 3x1 hr lecture is the norm in maths.

I was in the same position in the beginning of this semester. The reason I picked up 1030 is because I want to complete a pair of maths according to my other major, physics (astrophysics). If I'd picked up 1020, I would not only fall behind in maths major but also physics. If you're not gonna do math related major, do 1020 to strengthen your foundation
