What are the main features of informal language that should be studied as part of Unit 3 AOS2?
Is anyone able to list these out and show which subsystems are affected?

Isn't AOS2 , formal language? :)
Anyhow. I think the study design will give you all the info!

-the role of discourse features and lexical choice in creating textual cohesion and coherence
- stylistic features in formal speech and writing, including phonological patterning, syntactic
patterning, morphological patterning, and lexical choice and semantic patterning

So from what I've learnt so far.
In syntactic patterning it involves stuff like parallelism, sentence types and structures, ellipsis, etc.
In phonological patterning it involves stuff like alliteration, assonance, rhyme , rhythm, etc.
