Hey guys, I'm assuming most schools by now would have completed SAC 1. I'm proud to announce I received a A+ (not sure high or low, thinking low though).
What did you guys get?
And what was your SAC?

I am with you all the way on that one!

On topic I got a 36/40 which I'm definitely happy about and the case study on the SAC was a company that organises and books tickets for fighting matches. The marks I lost flew from the functional requirements and a couple things dodgy with the DFD.

Congrats all on your marks.
How are you all finding IT:SD?
It wasn't an option at my school and it really disappointed me, now after comparing the Apps and SD exams, I believe IT apps is much easier and only scores down 1 more.

The programming stuff I find is pleasant FINALLY SOMETHING FULFILLING, I see many people who do apps and say it's easier which they're probably right, but when I was deciding amongst the two, I was going to go for the hardest one, in hopes of learning more interesting stuffs. Some things could be better about the subject, but it's certainly an enjoyable one.

Yeah I'm enjoying the programming as well, I was hoping we would do C++ because a majority of us voted for it but instead our teacher decided to chose Java, I'm finding the programing were doing atm very basic, I can't wait to learn about objects even tho it's like one of the hardest thing to learn

Oh nice you get to do Java! That's actually the language i wanted to so, but our school has always done VB.NET for it's easy syntax I believe.

Yeah everyone in my class is doing VB.NET with the exception of one kid. You can clearly see c++ requires increased effort, determination and time. I know C++ is a superior language due to it being the 'industry standard' however learning it in year 12 could end problematic.

This is the first year that our school offered softdev, So our teacher is pretty much learning and teaching at the same time
