I lost 12 marks (ordered a SoM) and got 49, so yeah not competitive at all. Don't let that be a reason to relax though! You'll find that the majority of marks lost are from carelessness.

99% of my marks lost were lost from careless errors (e.g. I wrote "Health Records Act" instead of "Health Records Act 2001") so I don't think there's really one clear area where I struggled, it was kind of spread across.
The other 1% of marks lost were due to ambiguous VCAA questions (any ITA '08ers remember that "write a question the parents could ask" question?).

How many marks did the examiners take off for not having '2001'?

Never knew the markers were that fussy. Thanks for the tip

It was only worth 1 mark, so I didn't get the mark at all.

what were your SAC marks?
do u think:
Unit 3 - 94%
Unit 4 - 92%
Exam - 87% (mid A+) would get me 45?

i would assume so, from results i've heart..

my mate got a 42 with..

A   A   A+

note that the first A, got ranked up, it was a B+.. not sure how well he did in the exam, but assuming was mid, which is what ur looking at, or a bit higher, i reckon u would get that, if not higher. but then again, another opinion would be greatly appreciated..
also for myself if someone has time. i wanna get above 45, but not sure if i'm being too realistic.. i really want 50. (would be very nice)

A+ (93-94%)
A+ (97%)
A) (92+%)

1st in cohort, not sure if matters, my cohort only made up of 8 students, one just passing, but the rest are averaging A's beside one on A+'s. I expect everyone beside the one to get equal or above an B+

I would say very high 40s i.e +48 (basing on last years stats)

I have an 80% average for all sacs, what would a low-mid A+ yield ?
2009: IT Applications
2010: Chemistry | Literature | Methods (CAS) | Physical Education | Health and Human Development
ATAR required: 86, ATAR aim: 90+
