going overseas after vce exams??

Am I allowed to go overseas after my  last exams and do I need to be back to change preferences and accept offers?

You can definitely go overseas! Your VTAC stuff is done online, so as long as you have Internet access, you'll be fine.

Changing preferences is done online, as it course deferment/acceptance. You probably need to be in the country to negotiate an offer if needs be, but you might be able to do that over the phone. Scholarship offers I got through the mail, so you'd need someone here to let you know - but you accept it online.

Shld be after the results . In Jan for monash MMI .

Before, and some people have it after. I think as Monash is changing to UMAT+ATAR, probably after (likely "on the day").

This is what our careers counsellor sent us:

For 2014, Monash has introduced a new process and timeline for medical Interviews.
All local students who qualify with a very high UMAT and ATAR, will be invited for a Medical interview in the week of 6-10 January 2014.
If you are applying for Medicine, plan to be in Melbourne for that week.

Haha what scholarship offers did u receive? U dont have to accept the scholarship at that moment,right? Hmhh what about the release of offers in late Jan? Is it safer to come back than gallivanting around the globe?
