Accounting Prediction

Hey everyone!

For Unit 3 Accounting, I put up 71/100 overall. Could have been higher, but I got a C in a part of our first SAC (other 2 parts I got an A+) and the 2nd SAC was average. I got something like 36/50 for Outcome 1 and 35/50 for Outcome 2.

What sort of grade am I looking at getting for Unit 4 and the exam in order to rack up a 35-40+ study score? Or is it too late?

Cohort wise, there were 20 students doing Accounting at the beginning of this year, now there's 8. The teacher is absolutely the worst. We all have had to learn ourself; teacher gives us HW, thats all, doesn't go over concepts or teach in general. Its come to the point where majority of the class has dropped the subject, and the ones left are either focusing really hard or heading to TSSM for weekly classes (includes me), paying fees for another school. Otherwise, the 1st rank goes to a student with the grade 86/100.

Any advice/help appreciated :)

I was under the impression that you could have come close to failing your sacs, but ace the exam and get a 45+

Dw im on the same boat my average is like 72 per cent. Im just going to try to do better in unit 4 and the exams. You can only move forward personally i would be happy with 35 and over but 40 would be a welcome. Anyway good luck in your future accounting endeavours. Btw using paul sterio study guide i calculated we achieved a low b+ so if we get a low a in unit 4 and exam we can still achieve a study score of 35+. (low a  is 77 per cent). It is still possible to get 35 plus hope i motivated you buddy

all that matters is rank in terms of sacs
so you should make sure you and the people above you all get together and study really hard, so that you decimate the exam and all get really good scores :P

My bad, I got the Outcome scores out of 100, instead it should be 50. Fixed now.

Nonetheless, cheers for the help guys. Will work ahead and get the best I can in my SAC's and nail the exam. Cheers!

Depends what you mean by fail. Your sac rank still needs to be "up there".  If you come close to failing your SACs, chances are you will find the exam even more difficult. That's not to say give up, but have a bit of perspective as well. This might sound cliche, but I think you guys should stop focusing on "what I might get" and just do your best.
