Hey guys,
Just wondering, what are some good companies that offer revision lectures and possibly notes?
I know that it might differ for each subject, so can anybody please help me out? I'm interested in lectures for English, Methods, Legal and HHD

Thanks in advance :D

In Year 12, I used NEAP. Really expensive, but for science subjects, of so useful.

Well, I don't want to try to 'sell' myself because I think that's a bit disingenuous and awkward(!)... but the basic info is:

- There is a Content Revision Lecture on Sat 14 Sept. I've already done one for U3 so I'll probably focus more on U4 content with a briefer overview of U3.

- There is an 'Answering Questions' workshop on Fri 27 Sept. This will have content knowledge as assumed, because there's just not enough time to go through all the content as well as workshop A+ responses.

- There is the usual Pre-Exam Lecture on Sun 13 Oct. This has an overview of content dot-points (no detail), common errors and basic exam techniques, task words, some sample answers: basically a grab-bag of everything, but less detail!

And there are NOTES. My gosh, are there notes! In other words, I write those notes and they take a really, really long time, gah......!!!! ;) Everyone has a slightly different style of notes; I know I try to put a different focus into each set depending on the focus of the program. The notes for the U3 content revision lecture were just over 30 pages.

I don't know about bookings and cost etc, though - I don't handle that side of things! I'm the "talent". Haha.

Connect for Legal, HHD and English are really good, worth the money spent as I attended those in the exam-periods definitely recommend it for Connect and as for maths or science subjects no idea.

Haha I totally understand, I just wanted to know what sorts of things I'd be getting out of it :) Which lecture and notes are for unit 3 AND 4 and around when is it??

I'm looking for revision more than anything! I mean, I have considered headstart but I feel like revision would be more useful for me! And Connect Ed is definitely the company I'm leaning the most towards because those psych lectures and notes last year really made the difference between the SS I thought I'd get and what I ended up getting instead!
Around when will the revision lectures commence?? And will there be some sort of discount (haha, my inner curry-ness is kicking in :P) if you book more than 1 lecture?

The content one will be the one on 14 Sept. I'm going to spend more time on U4 because I might have people there who just went to my U3 one in June, but I will definitely do some U3 overview.

The others are after that, anyway, so you can decide based on the earlier one whether you think they would be helpful :)

revision lectures are typically held about 4 weeks before the exam, and there will most likely be a discount for multiple bookings. If you know one of the lecturers personally, ask them, and they'll give you a discount code :)
... or just PM me lol
