Ummmmmm... the UMAT

So basically, let's just work off percentage of questions right, because I sense something shifty with Medentry's percentiles... I'm getting around 60% of questions correct, and it's getting hard to stay positive when the exam is in 3 weeks. My scores aren't a good sign at all are they at this moment in time?  :-[

There's still time to improve and to be honest, who knows what you can pull out on the day. Whilst it's always fantastic to have some prep course consistency, it doesn't always translate to real UMAT success. Chin-up and keep at it :)

Regards.

Yeah man i know how you feel i get around the 60% range too and it freaking depresses me when i see my mark, I've even told myself not to except much from my UMAT score. But I'm not giving up i'm still doing the exams and i will try till the very end.

Haha I'll join you in being a hardworker  ;)
Yes, it sucks, it's so bloody hard, such an effort to do and at the end of it to get that...WITH A PERCENTILE THAT CORRESPONDS TO LESS THAN 30 haha sometimes I wonder why I try so hard, but this is true I won't give up, it's just not supportive at all.

Count me in too! I'm sooo depressed. I have done ALL of the drills. Up to exam 9 now and my percentiles fluctuate like crazy. Exam 1, 47 percentile; Exam 2, 55 percentile; Exam 3, 40 percentile; Exam 4, 47 percentile; Exam 5; 42 percentile; Exam 6; 69 percentile; Exam 7, 81 percentile; Exam 8, 51 percentile

Therefore, I'm going to predict that overall I'm around a 45 percentile. is this enough to get me into medicine? :( I'm a non standard so I can only apply for UNSW, UWS, UNCLE and UTAS

Section 3 is sooooo hard.

The UMAT is a very unpredictable exam, and it's very difficult to predict how you will go. You guys might end up actually doing very well. Just keep a positive attitude!

i haven't done it yet either. What did u get?
I think a lot of people haven't done the later exams so thats why the percentiles are so low. Like in exam 9, I got 90/134 but it's only 34 percentile. Maybe after a few days, the percentiles will rise.

I just did my first ACER exam today and I got 100/134
Is that good or...? My perception of UMAT has been warped by MedEntry so badly that I can't even tell what's decent anymore :\
