VCE Jumper Conundrum

So my year level are acting like complete twats and cannot seem to make the simple decision of whether to go with a knitted jumper or a rugby jumper for our 'Class of 2014' top. While the advantages of a rugby jumper far outweigh those of a knitted jumper and adding to the fact that the last 5+ years have had rugby jumpers, they cannot seem to come to their senses.

If you think that's bad hear me out...
At my school, we weren't allowed to put any nicknames on our Class of '13 jumpers because the previous Year 12's decided to be stupid and had rude nicknames. As a result we only have the option of either our first name, last name or nothing >:(

Well that wasn't very considerate of them was it? My year are a bunch of smackheads. At the rate were going now well never get jumpers at all.

One of the guys in my year owns a clothing label, so we got ours sorted really quickly and got them super cheap. I would've hated organising it through another company. That said, I wanted rugby jumpers and we got hoodies.

The year 12s at my school only get their rugby jumpers at the start of their last week of classes because my school is really strict with uniform..

They're also pretty strict with colours we can get on the jumpers and names etc

Same here. Heaps of us refused to buy them this year, and now the school is considering changing the system. In previous years, students had gone to see the principal about it, but it never ended well. I know our cohort's form of protest would work. :P

Why can't the school just vet out the rude nicknames? That's what my school did.

Apparently it was too much work for the teachers - so our school captains decided to check out all the nicknames and remove any inappropriate ones, but they still said NO :\
