Help, I'm really confused, does anyone here do MBBS at the uni. of QLD? It's so confusing, it's like yes, you can get in from Year 12, but you have to do this other ungrad course and keep decent scores to get into the medical program? Then I've read that it's 7 years and 4 years, I'm so torn :\

7 years. The UQ MD alone is 4 years.

UQ is moving towards an MD. So, it's basically like Melbourne guaranteed entry, except that the requirements are ATAR 99 hurdle (and UQ has this bonus system that bumps up your ATAR if you did spesh, LOTEs - funny, I know) and they rank entirely on UMAT. You get a provisional offer into the UQ MD. You do an undergrad degree, and you have to maintain a credit average I believe.

Ok, that's quite interesting, it's such a reputable uni, but at the same time it appears quite a lengthy process, not very straightforward..
THANKGOD FOR 3/4 ITALIAN. But then again, I could've completely stuff the UMAT, I hope I get the UMAT results at least before all these applications are due...  :o Thanks for the reply :)
