Persuasion Essay: what do I write about

Hey guys,
I am having serious trouble writing Literature essays on Jane Austen's 'Persuasion,' because it always seems to end up being more of an English essay.
What things do I need to focus on? I know I need to focus on language, but I'm not sure how to do that with Persuasion...
I'm panicking a bit at the moment, because there's not much time left, so any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks heaps!

There are so many different little things, but one angle you could look at is the running metaphors if commerce and business - owing, worth, value, estimating, etc. They well express a lot of Austen's views and values on life and relationships.
