Policy use in exam?

Hey everyone

Now that the Labor party has been kicked out and been taken over by the Liberals, this means we more than likely won't be getting the NBN. Considering this, are we allowed to still use the NBN as an example of a policy in any question that may require an example?

This was a concern I had earlier. But considering that the new parliament won't sit until likely after or just a week or so before the exam, let alone change policy, the change in government wouldn't be a concern in my opinion.

Also, the study design states policy from within the last 4 years, so even old policy which has ben scrapped but was at least used sometime within the last 4 years should be ok.

In fact, it's probably best just to not make any comments relating to the coalition changing policies etc. (or at least attempt to minimise it) as it may be seen as to political and lose you marks. It's better just to talk objectively about policies which were implemented within the last 4 years.

You can talk about ANY policy in the past 4 years. There is no point to even think of the election, take it out of your mind entirely.
It's important to understand that the Exam is written in the earlier half of the year, meaning that assessors will mark your paper using this context. That means you can use any current, or past policy of this year.
