What if my UMAT wasn't "great"?

YOU GOT A BROTHER?!  :o

Yeah I do!

wait what, he's going for Med? Thought he'd do law or something

Who knows, keeping all doors open :)

95th percentile, what ATAR will I need if I want to make it?

Around 99 I'd say, but aim as high as you can! :)

btw for those interested:

87th percentile
I thought that anything below 90 would have been rubbish but then I came on here and saw some really smart people in the 70th percentile, so is this not an awful UMAT? What can I do with this UMAT, realistically?

The UMAT definitely does not correspond with how studious (I don't want to use the word 'smart' here - define smart or intelligence) an individual is, especially when it comes to normal tests since they can be properly studied for, unlike this one.

With a score like that, you probably have a good shot at Monash medicine and probably other degrees too, but I'm not sure. I'll let the experts get back to you on that one. :P

Congratulations. :)

Very happy with my 98th percetile :)
Section 1: 68
Section 2: 56
Section 3: 72
Overall: 196

Did badly in Section 2 compared to my other sections. Almost failed it...though I expected a low score in Section 2.

Overall scores are also pretty low surprisingly.

Thanks man. I don't know if it's wise to get too optimistic about the whole thing, but good to know I have a shot if everything in my VCE works out.
And here come the geniuses  ;D
Good job all

Apparently Section 2 scores were changed slightly yesterday, might be worth rechecking your scores! :)

My results didn't change, BUT the percentile curve has, I thought a score in the 50s wouldn't exactly be in the bottom 20% haha... now it sits between 50-60th percentile which sounds more reasonable.  :)
