possibility of these topic appearing on exam?

Do we need to know changes to the internal environment on the exam? SD says operations and HRM but doesn't mention changes to internal environment like structure, policies

Also I know we need to study an organisation for the exam. My teacher let us choose our own organisation but I have only researched change management relating to the organisation. Is it possible we would need to know about other aspects like operations, HR, structure of that organisation or just the change part of it?

Do you mean the Pressures from the Internal Environment for change to occur? Yes, you would need to know all of the possible pressures. e.g. Management, Corporate Culture, Policies, Employees, etc.

In terms of knowing an Organisation, it's a bit of a dilemma for me too. On the last day of term, our Teacher just gave us a bunch of articles for Organisations relating to different Topics that we should read and familiarise ourselves with. He said that there was obviously other Organisations, but the list was a start. Happy to give you some if you want. Let me know, and I can post them up on here. :)

I think the best approach, is to find an Organisation or 2 and try relate each topic from the Study Design to it, and see whether it is possible to be able to relate to. e.g. Holden and the changes to the recent EBA, you can obviously link this to Employee Relations. Then consider whether Holden relates to other aspects of the Study Design.

He means changes to the internal environment and yes of course you need to know that. Such changes may include:
- Operations
- Corporate culture
- Policies
- Organisational structure
- Management
- Production

I also need to study an organisation. I've remembered some bits and pieces from SACs but haven't completely studied an organisation.. yet..

Okay, I haven't read through them yet, so I can't tell you which ones are good and bad. I'm reading them all on the weekend. :)

But this is what my Teacher gave me:
* Corruption - http://www.brw.com.au/p/leadership/companies_need_board_level_responsibility_JSKjLqXUrzEQT3CFDv6fPK
* Kotter's Theory Applied in a Case Study - http://www.kotterinternational.com/whatwedo/client-stories/casestudies_centrelink
* Greenwashing - http://www.bus.umich.edu/NewsRoom/ArticleDisplay.asp?news_id=25980

I thought there was more, but now I realise that he copied the content from the Articles onto a Word Document, which is why the Document looked big. =/

Having a quick look at them right now, and there's different organisations for different issues, but because there are so many topics covered, it will be hard to continue this. I suggest finding 1 or 2, may be 3 organisations, and analysing them so much so that you can relate the organisation to a number of different topics in the Business Management course.

I'll post back here, if I find a good organisation to use. I know that some of my friends from other schools use QANTAS, so that may be an organisation to research into. :)

Hope this helps to give you are starting point!
