Looks like it's gonna be quite rainy and thunderstorm-y tomorrow. Do we have a back-up plan apart from Flagstaff Gardens?

Awkwardly, I can't make it either. I will leave it in the capable hands of pi et al, and see you all at the January meet :)
Breaking news: the event is no longer alcohol-free.

Catch the train one stop up to Melbourne Central and knock yourselves out there. It's inside and there's plenty of things you can do.

bowling an option?

Yeh, this is ok. Depends on the turnout on the day; there are a few Strike Bowling places within the city/Melbourne Central.

If anything, keep an eye on the Facebook event for updates - see here:

AN Community College group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/306672579444855/ - so people can just join the group if they want to come and then join the event?

We'll stick to what it is at the moment; 1 pm at Flagstaff Gardens. And if there are any changes, one of the hosts will post in the event on the day (easiest way of communication).

Back-up plans for tomorrow (bearing in mind I won't be there to carry it out...):
- Everyone bring umbrellas - if it starts to rain and general consensus is you'd rather be indoors, catch a train from Flagstaff to Melbourne Central
- If people are still having food, then move to the indoor (fake) grass area at the top of MC to eat food, play Mafia etc. (note, the attending hosts don't seem to know where this is so if anyone does know, can you please help get everyone there?)
- There is bowling, pool, etc. nearby if you wish to amuse yourselves further.

P.S. if it is raining heavily at about 12-1 (basically before the event), then please make sure you check facebook or text Phy (his number is on facebook) to make sure that there hasn't been a change.
