Hahaha, I think because of all the extra time i've just gotten more and more terrified,  but no full blown panic attacks which is good. what are you aiming for callum??

What are people doing with all their free time?
Mostly creating tutoring materials. And eating. I started reading Anna Karenina! What about you??

Slowly eroding away; and it's incredible.

Just wondering, is there a thread similar to the "ATAR and Study Score predictions 2013 -> Compare to results on the 16th :D" threads but for this year?

Shits just got real, I'm back in Melbourne now. In the midst of the ATAR drama, I have two job interviews in the next week and have to sell my books.

Oh also, is a meet-up still happening?

La la la.....

Anyone else feeling pretty chill about their results but going near crazy about all the changes happening, trying to get a job, selling their books, applying for various documents etc?

It's really such a shame I only found atarnotes something like a month before exams hehe. Love this community

The dentistry job market isn't great either. As I said, if you really want money, look away from being a health professional.

what will get us money though?
If I can't do med in the future (wouldn't care about $ if I made it) I'll need some incentive to pursue another career as I won't enjoy it...

Apparently law doesn't get you rich anymore either?

Yep my coach's a lawyer and has been in the game for 35 or so years. he told me studying law at the moment is not a great idea. Too many graduates apparently :/

Started Hunter x Hunter, 93 episodes into it so far, considering i've only been in it for less than two weeks... :P
But also prepping tutoring materials and listening to some investment courses, no harm in starting early :)

Virtually any profession granted that you're in the top 5-10% of the field. Granted, it's not easy by any means, but if you're at the top in almost every field, you'll be getting a job with a decent salary on top of that. I'd encourage doing something that you enjoy, because you're far more likely to succeed at it than anything else.

Tbh i'm just chilling about life in general. It's good to enjoy the last week or so before results (I have virtually nothing hinging on results, since i'll get an ATAR >95 for the course I want to do, but I also won't get an ATAR of 99.90/99.95, and therefore I'll miss out on Chancellor's and the benefits that come with that). Pretty much all I really care about now is getting a score that won't disappoint my teachers who've put in so much effort throughout the year for me :3

45+ raw score guaranteed (or 100% refund) for 2022 Methods & Specialist (other subjects also available - classes for all) register now!

Also hiring excellent Methods, Chemistry, Physics, Biology + Specialist tutors with a passion for excellence - PM me!

We also now support Chemistry, Physics and Biology!

Will probably get some nerves Sunday night, but tbh I haven't really thought about results at all

In terms of choosing a career, I've never really been concerned about the difficulty in finding a job/how many graduates there are. Sometimes you have to bet on yourself, all you can do is make sure it's a good bet

Also, to add to what hamo said, after you've done your undergraduate degree, you can then find your own little niche and master a specific field. That can also be very financially rewarding
