Had my LOTE Oral today.
Don't think that went down too well

Oh well, I guess I just have to move on and look towards written exams.
I had mine for the same subject last Tuesday. It's really hard to tell how you went walking out of the exam, I found.
At the end of the day, you will not have wanted to say everything you wanted to and that's just a sad truth that everyone has to deal with. I accidentally brought up a point about how Berliners have different attitudes to people in Melbourne and then they immediately asked 'how exactly are they different?' and I didn't have a clue what to answer with... A girl in my class got asked to explain whether or not people should be allowed to climb Uluru or why one of her resources had a specific title. What's my point? You can't prepare for everything, and they don't expect you to be perfect in your language, anyway.
If you found it particularly hard, know that you're not alone. Also take satisfaction in the fact that examiners typically ask harder questions to students they deem to be at the higher end. We've still got tons of time before the German written exam, so just keep working at it and remember that the written exam is worth tons more than the oral at any rate!
