For the reaction pathway did they ask for semi structural or structural?

Semi-structural - they would've provided more space for structural formulae anyway.

For the renewable energy sources I don't get it doesnt each alternative have a non renwable a coal, b coal, c diesel ( as it does not specifty biodiesel and d crude oil?

Yeah you just have to assume diesel=biodiesel. All the others are clearly wrong.

For the impurity of copper question, how did you guys do it? I went mass change of pure copper/mass of copper lump

Where it said diesel you had to assume that it was biodiesel, as it is a form of diesel, just like how there are renewable and non-renewable sources of methane (fracking vs. cows going poot :) )

Since all three fuel sources in that group had the ability to be renewable, that was the answer.

Yeah and did you get 80.1%??? From memory that's what I got.

no god please no
that's what i did
and then i crossed it out
because it was worth 4 marks and i got that answer in one line
and then i just left it blank

I calculated the mass change of pure copper/ mass change of copper lump, which gave me something like 87%. Other posts on this thread suggest I'm wrong, though.
