Melbourne technically get it all in one hit (on the formal results page), it's just you can exploit the web 2.0 "study plan" to see them early.

REALLY?!

how would you exploit it?

Yeah. You go to the study plan, which is meant to just that, a record of your enrolled subjects and you'll be able to see results for your current semester subjects there before they formally go into the "my recent results" bit.

Back in the day, before the new portal and study plan, we had to use the automated "email me my results" option in order to get results that were in the system but not appearing yet #nostalgia

The "View my Results" thing has showed me my results at exactly the same time as my Study Plan has? I don't think they're really trying to hide them at all...

It certainly didn't do that last semester, but it's shown my results shortly after they've been released this semester.

When a result has been released onto our final/recent results page on the student portal, can it be changed or has it been finalised?

It can be changed until December 6th, upon which it is finalised.

This thread is useful for seeing which breadths to avoid due to harsh marking. Thank you!

There's nothing wrong with being eager to see our results. Just look at VCE students.

Except for the fact that finding out you failed a few days earlier means your mood is ruined earlier :P

I know. It's definitely warranted for students who sacrificed all throughout semester and shed blood, sweat and tears for their marks to be excited and F5ing for results. I didn't though, I went to the beach rofl. so many bikinis

Unless you're a Monash Student who calming waits, stress free with no care in the world for a few weeks, enjoying the holidays :D (even if you think you've failed as you can't do anything about it, and just wait) :P

...I'd rather it the Monash way, all in one bit hit instead of in dribs and drabs, but just pointing out it's not everyone on AN

Haha I know. It still applies as not many frequent users of AN, Melb or Monash would wait a day or two after results are released.

I have a subject where i want to inspect my exam script, if the subject coordinator is away until after that, does that mean a remark is not possible?

I reckon that's poor commitment to duties if they are just going to escape on holidays and not allow students to request for exam viewings and/or remarkings. Anyone got any ideas of what I should do?

You're entitled to see your script. If the coordinator is away, ask them whether there is somebody else at the university who will organize it for you or whether it is possible to do it when they return and still be able to appeal a mark.
