Organic Soy Candles?
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:59:18 pm »
I'm posting in the 'selling' section of this as I think it's general discussion? haha.
I thought of a way to spend my summer holidays before university starts - making and selling organic soy candles..
All details and updates are currently on the FB page, if you don't mind liking and/or sharing!

I see no problem with you selling your candles but it'd probably be a good idea to delete your double post in the buying forum (if you can anyway, someone will probably move it eventually).

Otherwise, i suggest you sell through as many channels as you can if you really want this to take off. eBay is good but the candles might be bulky and it might affect postage costs, still worth looking into (looking into eBaying stuff myself). Try hitting up markets and that kind of thing if you like as well, that way there is no eBay, paypal or postage fees.

I'd also suggest bundling it with other items if you can. It's a decent business model, think about a shop that sells ties along with their shirts for example. You can do something similar maybe with candle holders or other things made out of soy (if you can do that? Soy soap or something, not sure).
